The colony loop exists.
Exploration, landfall, workforce, production, construction, storage, shipping, trade and Legends are part of the Alpha 1 foundation.
Combat is present; opposing AI is deliberately limited.

Development
Meltwater has an accepted source alpha and a substantial library of design work. Those are different things: this is what exists today, and what remains ahead.
Current source · v0.1.1 Alpha 1A single-player colony strategy source milestone with colony economy, four factions and minimal AI, movement, combat, external trading, save/load and illustrated interface work.
It was accepted as a source alpha, not as a packaged public or Steam release.
Defence modifiers, naval loss outcomes, passenger-first cargo decisions and damaged-ship repairs were added. Behaviour-preserving development preparation followed.
This is the active game foundation. Graphical, audio and distribution acceptance are not claimed as complete.
The unfinished overhaul was abandoned/deferred in favour of retaining the last accepted integration. Its later economy, interface and art work is not installed in the current game.
Selected art studies remain useful references. They are not evidence of a completed release or a promise that all proposed features will ship.
v0.5.0 is the documented beta target; v1.0.0 is the first-release target. Their scope and timing are not fixed here.
Further releases need bounded scope and owner approval. There is no public release date or packaged download to announce.
A clear boundary
Exploration, landfall, workforce, production, construction, storage, shipping, trade and Legends are part of the Alpha 1 foundation.
Combat is present; opposing AI is deliberately limited.
A Windows packaging recipe exists, but an accepted executable and clean-machine release are not available. Visual and audio acceptance also remain outstanding.
No diplomacy or formal victory/defeat system is included.
Later workforce, production and art proposals are preserved in deferred design records. Some approved final assets exist separately from the installed game.
Concepts and finished-but-unintegrated assets are labelled as such.

Artwork and implementation
The site uses the current game's menu buttons, panel art, profession badges and Roboto Slab typeface. Its scenery is identified as illustration, not captured gameplay.
The later concept gallery is separate. Captions distinguish design references from installed assets and current gameplay.
