An Arctic post-apocalypse is the setting for Meltwater. Your expedition reaches an unfamiliar coast; the settlement that follows gives the journey its direction.

An expedition of your own
The story is what you build.
First comes the voyage. Then a place to land, work to assign and a settlement to supply. An export leaves the harbour; the ship returns with something the colony needs.
Meltwater is a strategy sandbox built around your expedition, rather than a scripted campaign. The setting gives each decision a place in the world.
The northern frontier
Land, water and a working harbour.
The game's art pairs cold seas and mountain horizons with warmer signs of settlement: timber, parchment, brass, lanterns and busy quays.
The thaw is not a reason to make every scene a frozen wasteland. The illustrated harbour also shows green slopes, clear water and a place taking shape.
People who shape a colony
Four of Meltwater's Legends.
As civic influence reaches a threshold, the current game offers a choice of Legends. Each brings an effect that can support a different direction for the expedition.
